Caregiver Support & Education Clubs
Are you caring for someone, raising children, sandwiched between kids and parents?
Would you like to connect with others in similar situations?
Would you like to be able to check-in regularly with medical and caregiver support professionals?
Support groups for caregivers teach and reinforce the need for self-care, give and receive encouragement, and provide a forum of support from others facing similar situations.
Join us for Caregiver Mondays! The day dedicated to the care of caregivers. Caregiver Monday is an nation-wide initiative that finds and assembles the latest tips, news and key resources to help caregivers take good care of themselves, manage stress and find support.

EDUCATEWe aspire to educate all to become self-advocates of their well-being as they age. We inform families on the stages of aging and prepare them on how to navigate the changes and connect them with resources in the community.
We give caregiving education seminars to groups at businesses, community, and faith-based organizations. Who’s Taking Care of Me While I’m Taking Care of You? Are you in fight or flight mode all of the time? Is your stress level through the roof? This seminar helps anyone who wants to sustain their hardiness. By practicing key steps, you can identify your own needs and plan how to get those needs met while bringing you peace of mind. Learn how to develop an outlook that will be a source of strength no matter what! As You Age - What You Want Others to Know As parents age, adult children often find themselves providing more support and are the key contact for their aging parents. What do you know about their health history, financial assets, insurance coverage and long term wishes? It is important to know and gather the right information. This workshop will help you initiate those difficult conversations, identify and gather important documents, understand your changing roles and learn more about the resources that can help as your parent ages. Being a Working Caregiver 6 in 10 family caregivers are employed. Are you trying to juggle work, home, family and caregiving responsibilities? This seminar focuses on the impact of caregiver issues in today’s working population. The “sandwich generation,” while being employed and raising their own children, may also need to assist their parents. By collecting resources and accessing information early on, can help simplify the process and save time. |
A More Balanced You
Do you find yourself stressed? Is your to-do list never ending? Are you forgetting things that occur on a regular basis? What keeps you from taking care of yourself? We all have the same 1,400 minutes in a day and often times it is our own perception of things that can keep us stuck and unbalanced. Learn time-saving techniques for self care and improve your sense of well-being. Making decisions sooner rather than later…Your own Health Care Directive Ever wonder why you would want to think about a scenario that wouldn’t allow you to communicate with those around you?
